In June 2018, Juárez releases its third album to date under the name of Boreal, published by Producciones Nebulosas and Caballito Records. As their previous works Escafandra (2014) and Caléndula (2016), it is produced by Hans Krüger.

Juárez's new record is the result of their personal evolution; the band was a hidden treasure until now, but in Boreal they decide to come to light and they do it in a relentless way. Boreal are 8 pieces straight to the heart, in barely 30 minutes at 45 rpm. It combines beauty, distortion and noise flawlessly, referring sometimes to different influences such as The Feelies, Kevin Morby or Spacemen 3.

On May 16th, the first album teaser No me importa was released, and the music video of Boreal was then released in June:
